While I was driving to work today, the morning radioshow I listen to was weighing one of their guys after thanksgiving to see how much weight they have gained. This got me thinking - while most people are disappointed with their post-thanksgiving/post-holiday weight gain, I encourage push up'ers to embrace it. Why? Because now you're doing push ups with extra weight.
Extra weight = more muscle = more push ups.
Additionally, as you continue to do push ups, you will naturally shed the pounds from the thanksgiving eating binge, and you'll be left with more muscle and more push ups, naturally. Additionally, you can accelerate your results with a little extra help.
Happy Thanksgiving!

I have not done a pushup since highschool. Could you please write s short blog on how to do one correctly?
no prob...I actually have already done so, but I will post it in my sidebar for easy visibility. It's called "proper technique".
I'm glad you're considering restarting!
Well there's a silverlining to Thanksgiving weight if I did hear one! lol
You gotta take lemons and make pumpkin pie with it. ;)
Now that is an interesting take on it. Never thought of it that way. Thanks for the insite :)
I like the way you think. This allows me to eat as much as I want, gain muscle, and remain trim. I won't worry so much next Thanksgiving
well i try to do pushups everyday or get some kinds of work out thanks for the insite bro
I've just started my own online goal of doing more pushups!
